John, or may I call you Chris. You were my first love from 2nd grade until the 8th grade, and always a freind after that. Even though I haven't seen you in years I am truely heart broken I will never have the chance to tell you the special place in my heart I will always have for you. You will always be remembered as the special person you were,

I will never forget you,

JC, whats it like up there?  Do you have a Village Inn to hang out at?  How about a Hobo Joes for 49er day? Are you playing faces in the crowd at the Safari?  You starting at 2nd base and making like a bird?  How about water skiing, do the lakes look like glass?  JC was there anything we didn't laugh at when we were growing up or even throwing up? You always were an athlete that could do anything just a little better than just about everyone else but you never really acted like it.  So JC you seen Scotty J?  You never stopped to finish the 5th beer in what we so often referred to as the 6 pack of life.  LC, A little jack and eggnog might do us good right now.  By the way JC, I got the call on my birthday so St Teresa was listening to me knowing the irony of the day tied to the importance of the next day, some might not understand but it was one of those so called life changing experiences, other than marrying CP... and people say you probably get fewer presents for having a birthday on Christmas Eve.  One other thing JC, a lot of people still ask about you and sometimes it hurts a little and even scares me to know I can't call you up to tell you the class is having a reunion or to tell you guess who I just ran into,  but I do know you did make an impact while you were here.  So JC whats it like up there?  When someone moves on you hear people say they wish they had called them, but if we just take the time to understand the significance of life that remains along with the knowledge that just one call to say the magic words while you can is all it takes, but you know that was never the case with us ...I still love you man!
