In Memory

Bruce Gill VIEW PROFILE

It is with great sadness that we must tell you Bruce Gill passed away at the end of May this year, (2014). Bruce succumbed to a prolonged illness and passed away peacefully at his home in Scottsdale with family members by his side. Bruce enjoyed travel, art and music. In his later years he loved driving his Nissan 350Z, with top down, and playing his Fender Stratocaster. For those of you that knew him, we think you would agree that in many ways he lived his life that way. Bruce was a father, a fellow classmate, and a true friend. He will be missed.  He is survived by his mother, Ruth, his sister, Janelle, his brothers, Paul, John, Scott and West, and his two daughters, Sarah and Emily.

Bruce...you were loved deeply and I am honored that you were part of my life. We had great times together..you always brought a smile to my face and made me laugh . My sincere sympathy goes to Bruce's family.

Bruce was a grat friend and a very warm hearted, kind guy who I just loved to be around during the SHS days. Playing music, laughing- what a great laugh -and finding the upside and fun in everything. You are missed, Bruce, and I know I will feel you there at the reunion. Blessed to have had you in my life.

I missed having Bruce at our reunion this year. And I have missed seeing him for decades, hearing his unmistakeable laughter, (I can hear it right now!) and playing rock and roll with him. Bruce was one of the most warm hearted men I've ever known. Lucky and blessed to have known you, Bruce. I'm sure we'll play together again sometime... ;)

Hey Bruce, thanks for one thing that's in short supply- Someone you can call a true friend.  I'll come visit you sometime. Your mom told me where I can find you though she did not have too- I knew you'd be there.
