Matt Chew - how do you do? Thank you so much for digging up this article on Steve. You may know that we became close friends Sr year and for a few years after. I went through the shooting incident, visiting Steve at County Hospital a few days later. Steve was so very confused by what had happened because he and his Dad were actually very close. Its great to hear that Steve came to terms with it....and his Dad. That's how mentally strong a person he was.
Dan Organ had informed me of his departure when I was in town for a visit, back around when this article ran.
Steve was quite a Ladies Man and a great flat track motorcylcle rider at Manzanita Raceway in West Phoenix, AZ. He had trophies all over his parents living room in Scottsdale, AZ. He taught me how to ride wheelies for a quarter mile on my Schwinn Sting Ray bicycle. He could ride a 10 speed Schwinn Varsity wheely for a quarter mile. I miss Steve Harris alot!!!!!!!!!!!!!
