After a long courageous fight with cancer, Jill Christine Freedman passed away peacefully at her home on May 7th, 2015. She was born August 7, 1957 at the United States Military Academy Hospital at West Point, New York. Jill is survived by her triplet daughters, Hayley, Chelsea, and Sydney, her mother, Barbara Hermanson, her brothers Jon and Jeff Hermanson, and her partner of 25 years, Jim Gatrell. After receiving her Bachelors degree from Northern Arizona University and a Masters degree in Visual Education from University of Arizona, Jill worked for the Paradise Valley Unified school district teaching children with special needs. Jill moved to Arizona in the summer of 1964 with her family and has lived here since then. Jill enjoyed spending summers in Prescott, Arizona, and working with and caring for animals. Her love and kindness was demonstrated through her love of her daughters, family, and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate to know her.
