I never met Debbie in high school, but after she joined our website, we shared a few e-mails back and forth, and I looked forward to meeting her at a future reunion.  It's a shame that it will never happen now.  Debbie had fallen and hit her head, resulting in severe brain damage and (ultimately) death.  It's even more heartbreaking to know that she had just recently retired.
